Barking Up The Wrong Tree: The Surprising Science Behind Why Everything You Know About Success Is (Mostly) Wrong by Eric Barker
I encountered this book in my hometown’s bookstore back in 2018 and the title took my attention. This book sits on the Self-Help/Motivation book section, which is my favorite section. Finally, I have the chance to read it in 2020 during the quarantine and I like it. Hence, I am writing this review of the book suggesting you to read if you are interested in what brings success in life.
Why do I like it? It is not the usual book asking you not to do this or do this to be successful. The author collected and wrote stories of prominent characters to support the points he made. There is a balance in everything he wrote, one point doesn’t overweight another point. This is the reason that I would go back to read again and again and because life is about finding balance, isn’t it?
